{His breathing feathers, exhales light as she pressed forward for another kiss. Huh. On a scale of one through ten, this was sorta floating around a ten for unexpected. Funny how things work.} I can take care of myself, but you’re more than welcome to try and do your best.

My best would melt the skin off your bones. [She flipped the ring on his necklace lightly before looking up at him, a smirk spreading on her lips. She backed away a few steps.] Well soldier, if you’re still up for the challenge, come and get it. [She smiled once more before phasewalking out of the room]

[Her gold eyes watched him take her wrist, looking back to his face when she barely bit her lip] Well sport, you’re playing with fire over here so you better make up your mind.

Alright. {with that, he pulls her in closer. and, let’s face it, the two were already rather short on breathing room beforehand. and now? well, at least they were bonding in close-knit fashion… of sorts.}  I’ll take it. {he leans in close enough to kiss her, lips brushing against where she had gently bitten down on. his hand remains wrapped around her wrist, but his hold lessens further until his fingers just lightly train against her skin. axton pauses for a moment before retreating mere inches, the commando looking down at her carefully.}  …I liked this challenge. This a one-time deal, or…

{raises his hand, taking her wrist in a careful grip.} It’s takin’ a bit of effort.

[Her gold eyes watched him take her wrist, looking back to his face when she barely bit her lip] Well sport, you’re playing with fire over here so you better make up your mind.

Patient learner huh? [She looked up at him, flicking his ring necklace.] Heard you were pretty reckless on the battlefield, I heard the echos. [She knew she wasn’t any different, but at least she went in with a battle plan.] 

…Alright, so I might be a little impatient. {he looks to her hand, finger flicking against the hard surface of the diamond.} But what can I say? {eyes dart to her.} I like excitement. You can’t say you actually disagree.

{without much choice, axton backs up until he can’t move much further.} I can always learn new things. You’d be surprised. I’m a pretty patient learner. {okay, she’s pulling his strings, isn’t she?} But that’s usually with a teacher, y’know.

{was she… no way. not possible. maybe possible? probable? wow, what’s going on again?} I’m starting to think “challenge” {grins in return, suspicious.} is taking on a whole new meaning right now.

I don’t think you can handle the challenge I have in mind for you. [She approached him, stopping a foot in front of him]

{he couldn’t help but look to the left of him in response. she was talking to him… right?} Yeah? {axton’s wearing a cocky grin, and he must say, he’s damn proud of himself. he’s taken on every single task anyone has thrown at him, so her doubting him wasn’t justified. at least, not to him… okay, so, yeah, maybe he should be blessing the NEW-U station on certain occasions, but not all! that’s gotta count for something. just saying.} In case you haven’t noticed, I haven’t exactly said “no” to anything yet {he remains still as she approaches.}. Sure you’re talking to the right guy?

{he taps his fingers against his arm and gives a single nod.} Challenges are exactly what we look for. Never been one to turn one down.

Well, {crosses his arms and leans against the wall} I don’t exactly see how it could be a bad thing, but it wouldn’t exactly be the first time you’ve thrown a curve ball at me. Or us, really.
